A fisherman's cottage, three generations ago

The house was once a small, authentic fisherman's cottage, set among the many creeks and waterways around Groede.

Our grandparents discovered the place and spent hours along the water, fishing, watching, doing nothing in particular. Our parents turned it into a warm holiday home for the family.

For us, it's tied to childhood, a quiet, safe place, a base for the region, the start of every bike ride to the sea.

We've carefully refreshed the house and the garden, design and retro pieces, with the old character left alone. The wide lawn still opens out to the creek and the bird sanctuary.

We arrange arrival and departure by email and send you the key-box code, no key handover needed.

Safety

Emergency numbers, fire extinguisher, smoke alarms and a first-aid kit in the house. Note: the landscape garden is not fenced, something to keep in mind with small children.
